Membership

One can become a member of both our branch church and The Mother Church in Boston. They are separate processes that are started by filling out an Application for Membership. Either application may be obtained from an usher at a regular church service or from the clerk of our branch church.

The Mother Church application is filled out and signed by the applicant and a “sponsor,” who is a current member of The Mother Church, then sent to the Clerk of the Mother Church in Boston. The Board of Directors receives applications during the year and considers applicants for membership twice per year, and you would be notified by mail of your acceptance for membership.

To become a member of our branch church, one must fill out the proper application and turn it in to the clerk, who then forwards the application to the branch church board of directors for consideration. There may be a short interview conducted at the discretion of the board. If accepted, you will be notified by the clerk and you will be introduced to the congregation following the next available Sunday service. One does not have to be a member of The Mother Church to become a member of the branch church, and vice versa.

For more information about this process, contact the clerk of our branch church.
